NUMBER COLLECTION
Race numbers will be available for collection before the start, from 8:00am.

TEAM ENTRIES
Please ensure that each member of the team/family completes an entry form and specifies the name of the team and team leader.

RESULTS
Results will be published on www.blackwoodps.sa.edu.au and on www.mitchamhills10000steps.org.au .  For the privacy of participants no registration numbers will be published, so there will be no links to names and images from photos.

Parking
Parking available in the school grounds, car parks and the adjacent High School car park for the early arrivals.  Other areas are Shepherds Hill Road and residential streets around the school.


DOGS/WHEELS
We ask that dogs are not brought to the event. Due to the design of the course, people on bikes and other wheeled vehicles may not participate.
 
Children
All participants 14 years of age and under must be under the supervision of an adult present at the event, although the adult does not need to run the course with them. The event is likely to be challenging for children under the age of 5, and is not suitable for prams.

Drink stations
COMPLIMENTARY water will be available at the start, Craigburn Farm and the finish.  For 12km runners there will be an extra station at Beaconsfield Road.

Food
COMPLIMENTARY fruit will be available to all participants at the end of the Run/Walk.  Tea/coffee, muffins, a sausage sizzle, ice-creams and cool drinks will be available for purchase throughout the morning.

Clothing/belongings
A secure storage area for clothing/belongings is located in Ashby Hall adjacent to the oval. 

MASSAGE
After race massage and advice provided by qualified physiotherapists and podiatrists from Sportsmed Blackwood will be available in the heated Green Room adjacent to the oval.

Toilets
Toilets are available at the start and finish.

WALKERS
If entered as a walker please keep to the left hand side and give way to runners.  Please stay in single file in narrow areas.

WARNINGS
Over-exertion and inadequate fluid intake can be dangerous.  Exercise within your capabilities and drink before, during and after exercising.  Wear protective clothing, sunglasses and use an SPF30+ sunscreen.
